This led Amber to become more mature and choose to go on adventures, such as when she and Sofia thought their mom was in trouble and went after her in " Her Royal Spyness" and when they went on a sailing trip together in " Pirated Away" to see a meteor shower. Later, in The Mystic Isles, Sofia taught Amber that the needs of friends are more important than material wishes. Sofia helped Amber become more mature, flexible, and caring, beginning in The Curse of Princess Ivy, when she taught Amber to be aware of her needs, put herself on the line for her family, and to treat powerful things with caution. After bonding, despite being two different princesses, Amber became happy to help Sofia on princess things and Sofia turned Amber into an outdoors princess.
